Our most popular service. Computer System diagnostics comprises of initial hardware testing to check for faulty components which could be causing crashes, data corruption and any other obscurities. The purpose of this service is to reveal the problems with the system in greater detail and locate the root cause of the issue. From there, we inform the customer of the faults, the price of the required repairs and ultimately repair the computer.

Operating System (Re)Installation

A common repair service to follow Computer System diagnostics. This service will wipe your operating system back to the original factory state - this is very useful for getting rid of an abundance of viruses, or for solving the problem of a corrupt/damaged operating system. This service is often required as a result of replacing the motherboard, replacing a hard disk and severely infected systems.

Health Check

A health check is used to remove a formidable amount of malware, including viruses, trojans and spyware. It is also for tuning up the operating system in general to increase general operating speed and also includes the installation of any updates to the operating system which are available.

Fit Motherboard / Recase Desktop

Required when either a motherboard fails and needs replacing, subsequently requiring the whole system to be rewired to the new motherboard. This service also applies to customers who would like their computer case changed.

Data Transfer

Data transfer is for transferring precious pictures, documents and other personal files from one computer, or media source, to another. For example, one could be buying a new computer because your old computer is now broken - Gigante Computers can transfer your documents from your old computer to your new computer, or to a DVD, or CD for you to do as you wish.

Data Recovery

If your data has become corrupt, or you have accidentally erased some of your data, or if you're unfortunate enough to have a corrupt or failed hard disk, data recovery is the service for you. We can attempt recover data from damaged hard disks, corrupt partition tables, deleted partitions, or single deleted files. (The recovery of any, or all data can not be guaranteed due to the nature of computers and hard disks - if Gigante Computers is unable to recover any data, the price of the service is halved)

This will include the stripping down of the laptop for component level examination for laptop specific issues. The purpose of this service is to reveal the problems with the system in greater detail and locate the root cause of the issue. From there, we inform the customer of the issues, the price of the required repairs and ultimately repair the laptop.

We send our most experienced technicians to your door to set up your new wireless network with high bit-rate encryption wireless security. Within this job, we will set up 2 computers / laptops, one printer to be capable of printing over the network (wirelessly) and the configuration of the wireless router itself.

LOW RATE Home Call Out
